the innovative and efficacious active raw materials. BioSpectrum
Life Science. Institute brings to the cosmetic and personal
care industry. As part of our service we offer all the
team's collective skills to the custom development of
a range of unique new raw materials for our customers.
Over the years, this team has been responsible for
the development of a number of different delivery systems,
allowing the selective targeting of active materials.
Additionally, work has been carried out on the detection,
isolation, purification and characterization of a host
of antioxidants, firming agents, anti-aging actives
and anti-inflammatory materials. All these materials
have been derived from natural sources or from the products
of biotechnology, which when combined with our delivery
systems ensure maximum product efficacy.
Botanical Extraction
Extracellular, intracellular and lipohillic extractions
are performed in aqueous systems using proprietary processing
techniques, producing very concentrated and highly active
botanical fractions. We can also produce extracts using
a counter-current distillation method in silicone fluids
for incorporation in anhydrous products. All extracts
can be standardized for particular active concentrations
or biological activity.
Liposomes
We specialize in the development of custom liposome
formulations using some of the industries highest quality
ingredients, to produce liposomes with defined particles
sizes, active concentrations and superior stability.

services, special analytical services and in vitro/in
vivo claims substantiation to the development of an
