바이오스펙트럼이 세계적인 화학기업인 클라리언트와 업무협정을 맺었다. 이로써, 바이오스펙트럼은 남미지역으로의 진출에도 박차를 가하게 되었다. 바이오스펙트럼과 클라리언트의 협업은 지난 10월에 열린 세계적 원료 박람회, in-cosmetics Brazil에서 먼저 선보이게 되었다.

Clariant increases and completes its portfolio of natural actives
On the occasion of the latest in-cosmetics Brazil trade show, Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, announced a cooperation agreement with Korean company BioSpectrum and showcased new natural actives.
The agreement with Biospectrum allows Clariant to extend and complement its portfolio functional actives derived from Asian natural products and exotic plant extracts. They consist in products sourced from the Eastern diversity that generate proven benefits for humans.
Based in South Korea, BioSpectrum has operations in several countries and has a recognized experience in the research and development of natural raw materials for use in products for skin and hair care products.
New natural actives
During in-cosmetics, Clariant also presented three new natural actives for face and body creams:
BioDTox: A natural active derived from Citrus, Broccoli and Aloe. The active assists and stimulates the body in the “detoxification” process and improve the skin’s natural protection against environmental stresses. Its main fields of application are facial skincare creams.
VageStop: A natural active from cauliflower mushroom extract (Sparassis Crispa). It works as a protection of the cells’ DNA while minimizing damage caused by sun exposure. Its main applications are lotions and creams.
AkebiSol: A natural active derived from a plant called “akebia quinata”. It has several properties, including the prevention of skin’s aging. Its main applications are facial treatment creams.
Vegetal extracts
During the event, Clariant also promoted 12 plant extracts based on the diversity of oriental plants. Among the raw materials are: ginseng, goji berries, mushrooms, green tea. Besides traditional moisturizing benefits, they add new functionalities to hair and skin creams.
